NP Cynthia Chaney Pulmonary Follow Up After Sleep Study

NP Cynthia Chaney Pulmonary follow up after sleep study on February 23, 2023. I only remember a small part of this office visit. The medical records for the pulmonary specialist have been _ fairly confusing and hard to put together in order. I believe the pulmonary records are weird because of the home sleep study.

This appointment was noted as being with Dr. Gass in GBC, but seen NP Chaney. NP Cynthia Chaney is registered under Dr David Irwin Jones not under Dr Gass’s license.

This office visit was also done at 2408 W Main St, Gun Barrel City, TX 75156 – This address is not associated with Dr. Jones or NP Chaney.

Gastrointestinal / Abdominal: On 3/8/2022 Dr. McMullen did not comment on gastrointestinal issues or left CVA” tenderness as previously mention on the 2/8/2022 records. 3/23/2022 McMullen noted abdominal pain, left CVA tenderness in the area for gastrointestinal symptoms. 4/22/2022 nothing noted about gastrointestinal symptoms. 11/8/2022 Abdominal pain, abdominal tenderness, and epigastric tenderness were noted 12/14/2022 Notes say that abdomen is soft with abdominal tenderness (epigastric). No guarding or rebound. 12/22/22 say negative for gastrointestinal symptoms. 2/23/23 Everything was noted as normal

Constitutional: On 2/8/2022 McMullen noted “she is obese. She is not ill-appearing, toxic-appearing or diaphoretic.” I believe the term “Obese” that McMullen was incorrect. I believe the correct term for me would be “Class III obesity” because my BMI at the time was over 40. On 3/8/2022 McMullen noted “she is obese”. Again, I do not agree we the label of “Obese” I believe the correct term to label me should be Class lll obesity since my BMI is over 40. 3/23/2022 McMullen labeled me as “Obese” again. 4/22/2022 again just noted as “obese” this is 2 days after the radiologist noted “fatty liver” on my sonogram. 11/8/2022 Dr. McMullen diagnosed me with Class 3 severe obesity. 12/14/2022 records say normal. 12/22/2022 say normal with Morbid Obesity noted. 2/23/23 Everything was noted as normal

More About Lincare

Department of Health And Human Services had issues with Lincare for medical insurance fraud. There are multiple public records of Lincare billing insurance for items not received.

On This Day I Had Been Taking Pantoprazole NON – Stop For:

  • 1 years 0 months 15 days
  • or 12 months 15 days = 10 MONTHS and 15 DAYS over the suggested 2 MONTHS
  • or 54 weeks 2 days = 46 WEEKS and 2 DAYS over sugested treatment time
  • or 380 days = 324 DAYS longer than the recommended 56 Days

Food And Drug Administration recommend a treatment cycle of 8 WEEKS. Doctors are not required by law to follow FDA recommendations. Doctors can do what they want in Texas because the state is short on doctors.

Billing For This Follow-Up Visit

  • $160.00 = Office / Outpatient Established Low Mdm 20 Min / NP Cynthia Chaney

Going by my UT Health East Texas / Ardent Health Medical bills, it looks like the only charges for this day are for the office visit with NP Cynthia Chaney. The itemized bill says that my Ambetter Health insurance policy paid 100% of the $160.00 visit bill.

I am unable to verify the Ambetter Health insurance claim with the EOB, because its currently 3 years after this day in 2023 when I am making this article in 2026.
