Epiphany Dermatology mole removal performed by Dr. Tang Dinh Le in Mesquite, Texas on April 27, 2022. I had a large mole on my center back between my shoulder blades. Dr. McMullen referred me to Epiphany Dermatology when I told her that hair kept getting tangled when I showered.
The location of the mole was very bothersome because I wasn’t able to see it without a mirror or reach it with my hands. The most annoying issue with the mole was went I washed my hair in the shower _ loosened hair would drop right onto the mole and tangle around it.
This specific mole was passed down to me from father. My father had the exact kind of mole I had on my back _ on his flank. My father told me that he had accidentally tore his off multiple times while working, but his always grew back in the exact same spot.
On April 27th, Dr. Le did remove the mole on the very first visit.
- Dr. Le started the mole removal with giving me a local anesthesia injection. Then after the area was numb, Dr. Le just scraped the mole away.
- The scrapped area was covered with a small bandage and the mole was sent off for biopsy.
- There was very little pain and discomfort to this mole removal. No prescriptions medications were prescribed to me by Dr. Le for the mole removal.
- After a few days, I was informed that the mole was not cancerous.
